Welcome to the Overeaters Anonymous Baton Rouge Intergroup,
serving the Greater Baton Rouge and Lafayette areas
.

Welcome home!

Overeaters Anonymous is a fellowship of individuals who, through shared experience, strength, and hope, are recovering from compulsive overeating. We welcome everyone who wants to stop eating compulsively. There are no dues or fees for members; we are self-supporting through our own contributions, neither soliciting nor accepting outside donations. OA is not affiliated with any public or private organization, political movement, ideology or religious doctrine; we take no position on outside issues. Our primary purpose is to abstain from compulsive overeating and to carry this message of recovery to those who still suffer. It is our hope that recovering members as well as those who still suffer can find answers, support, and recovery on these pages.

Do you have questions about compulsive eating? Do you have a problem with the way you eat? We have been there. Please visit the “To the Newcomers” page for more information, questions and answers, and how to find your first meeting.

The Baton Rouge Intergroup (BRIG) exists to provide support to OA members and groups in the Greater Baton Rouge area and has recently expanded to include meetings in the Lafayette area. Please let us know how we can be of assistance. Email us or contact us below if you have suggestions for resources you would like to see on the intergroup website.
